31-year-old man allegedly robbed of HK$1m in cash at Hong Kong Industrial Centre in Cheung Sha Wan

25th May 2020 - (Hong Kong) at around 7.35pm today, a 31-year-old man filed a report to the police after he was robbed of HK$1 million in cash when he was pushed down from a staircase at Block B, Hong Kong Industrial Centre, 489-491, Castle Peak Road in Cheung Sha Wan. The man is a staff for a money changer and he has worked for over a year. Before the incident, he went to several locations with his employer to collect debts. When they arrived at the building in Cheung Sha Wan. He was being pushed down and HK$1m out of the HK$3m in his backpack went missing.Police checked the CCTV footage and confirmed that he entered the building to collect debts from a company but they did not see suspect. It is unsure if the robbery was an insider’s job.
