The Hong Kong Custom and Excise Department (HKC&ED) is organising Seminars on 3 October and 11 October 2017 respectively

The HKC&ED is organisingSeminars (Cantonese on 3 October and 11 October 2017 & English on 3 October2017) for licensed MSOs at the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library,66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Details of the Seminars are as follows:

 - provide participants with an overview of the latest international anddomestic developments and trends on anti-money laundering and counter-terroristfinancing;

 - examine the vulnerability of the MSO sector by making reference to therecent telephone scams;

 - enhance participants' understanding of the statutory obligations andpractices of suspicious transaction reporting; and

 - draw participants' attention to the licensingrequirements and the importance of risk identification and ongoing monitoring
