Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department Seminars for MSOs to be held on25-26 May 2017 (Invitation Letter and Enrolment Form)

The Hong Kong Customs and Excise Departmentwill be organising Seminars for Money Service Operators (MSOs) on 24 May(Cantonese) and 25 May (English) respectively at the Auditorium, 15/F, CustomsHeadquarters Building, 222 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong. The contents ofthe Seminar are as follows:

1.    Toupdate the participants on the latest development of the Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-TerroristFinancing Mutual Evaluations and the results of the Money Laundering/TerroristFinancing risk assessment on the MSO sector;

2.    Tostrengthen the participants' cognition on the MSO licensing requirements andtheir statutory obligations;

3.    Tobrief the participants on the fair trading sections under the TradeDescriptions Ordinance; and

4.    Tointroduce the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance and increase the participants' awareness of common corruption pitfalls in the industry.
